Daughter of John and Ruth Pickard, Rhoda married Joshua Tune, a native of Halifax County, Virginia on 31 October 1833 in Maury County, Tennessee by William W. Grimes, M. G.. Rhoda's parents are buried in the Hunter Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Maury, Tennessee and it is possible Rhoda is also buried there, but I have no record to verify this idea.
Rhoda and Joshua had these known children:
William P., married Elizabeth Ann Beckum; Louisa J., married Arthur Weaver; Nancy Louise married David Houston Erby; Elizabeth; Thomas Theodoric, married Emily C. Jones; James Elihu, married Mollie A. Dickey; Mahala A., married W. R. Davidson and Joshua Craig, married Frances Alice Sims.

The birth and death dates are an approximate from the census schedules. It is thought that Rhoda died during or shortly after childbirth with her last child. This family lived in District 4, near Newburg between 1850-1860 which is near Hohenwald.

May you rest in peace.
