He is survived by Wife of 40 years, Paulette Thompson Bailey; Children: Tim & Jenny Bailey, Tommy & Cindy Bailey, Daniel & Lisa Bailey, David & Allyson Bailey, Douglas & Cindy Bailey, Tammy & John Baylor, LaRae and Buck Abbott; Brothers: Gerald & Janice Bailey, Darrell Bailey, Paul & Edwina Bailey; Sisters: Faye & William Cook, Shelia & Thomas Holder; Grandchildren: Kevin Bailey, Kyle Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Jenna Bailey, Nick Bailey, Anderson Bailey, Dylan Bailey, Walker Baylor, Kelsey Baylor, Brittany Baylor, Ruth Ann Bailey, A. J. Abbott, Hannah Abbott, Brooke Robinson; Several Nieces and Nephews. A native of Gwinnett County, Mr. Bailey was a member of the North Metro First Baptist Church, Lawrenceville and Dewitt Cox Sunday School Class. He was retired owner and operator of Bailey's Machine Shop, Lawrenceville. He was preceded in death by daughter, Paula Darlene Bailey, l967, parents, Rev. Virgil Bailey, l997 and Lola Bailey, l978. Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm Sunday, January 2,2005 at North Metro First Baptist Church. Interment Peachtree Road Baptist Church Cemetery. Officiating were Rev. David Bailey, Dr. Frank Cox, Rev. Dewitt Cox, and Dr. Lloyd Ferguson.
