Byron T. Boyle, 54, of Chisholm, died Tuesday, July 27, 1999, at the University Medical Center Mesabi in Hibbing. He was born July 11, 1945, in Chisholm to Timothy J. Boyle, Sr. and Onlee D. (McLeod) Boyle.

He graduated from Chisholm High School in 1963, and received his bachelor' degree in physical education and health education from Mankato State University. He was a lifelong Chisholm resident. He married Sandra M. McDonald on Aug. 22, 1970, in Chisholm.

He worked as the Concentrator Office Administrator for Hibbing Taconite Co. for many years. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was an active member of the Chisholm Blueline Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a Chisholm Youth Sports enthusiast. He was a Vietnam era veteran of the Army, having served in Germany.

Byron is survived by his wife, Sandy; children: Craig, Angela, and Paul at home; stepmother, Kathryn E. Boyle; brothers: Timothy J. (Denny) Jr., and Michael (Beth); sister, Patricia Boyle; and numerous nephews, nieces, and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Baby Girl Boyle.
