Graveside services for Mazie Hodges Damico of Brookhaven are today, April 12, at 10 a.m. at the Catholic Cemetery in Brookhaven.
Mrs. Damico, 71, died April 10, 1993, at King's Daughters Hospital. She was born in Lincoln County on Oct. 27, 1921, to Rufus Hodges and Effie Thomas-Gamer Hodges, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a former secretary at King's Daughters Hospital, and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Survivors are her husband, Joe Damico of Brookhaven; one son, Angelo Damico of Baton Rouge, La.; one daughter, Linda Damico of Marietta, Ga.; two brothers, Nelton Hodges of Vidalia, La., and Harper Marion Hodges of Vandalia,Ill, and three sisters, Eva Nell Serio and Jimmie Pauline Sistrunk, both of Brookhaven, and Helen Bass of Alexandria, La.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
