ENTIAT - Mrs. Christina Dixon, 71, of Entiat, wife of J. J. Dixon, died in a local hospital Saturday following an extended illness. Born Oct. 23, 1884, in the Wenas Valley, she spent her early life in the Yakima Valley where she attended school. She was married to John Joseph Dixon May 9, 1907, at Yakima. In 1916 she moved with her family to Entiat.

Mrs. Dixon was a member of the Rebekahs, a past noble grand of the Entiat Lodge and a past district president of District No. 17; a member of the Women's Club and the Federated Church and Ladies' Guild.

Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband, J. J. Dixon of Entiat; two sons, Harold S. Dixon of Prineville, Ore., and John Dixon of Seattle; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Barthol of Cashmere; one brother, William W. Sherman of Peshastin; one sister, Mrs. Hilda Brooks of Live Oak, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
