Funeral services for Mrs. Artie M. Clark, 80, 601 S.W. Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale, Fla., who died Saturday, Jan. 3rd, 1948, was conducted 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Nazarene Church with the Rev. George Brinkman and the Rev. George Kercher officiating. Burial was in Lauderdale Memorial Park under the direction of the Fairchild Funeral Home.
A native of Campbellsville, Ky., she went to Florida fourteen years ago. She was married to Owen B. Maupin Nov. 26, 1885 who died in 1923. To this union was born four sons, Harry C. and Leslie E. Maupin, Fort Lauderdale; Ira and Lee Maupin, Campbellsville.
She leaves one brother, George Minor, Spurlington, and a sister, Mrs. Mollie Young, Illinois, also two half-sisters, Mrs. Lorette Trine, Wheaton, Illinois, and Burnette Minor, Louisville, and one half-brother, Arthur Minor, Mannsville. Also leaves 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was married to John W. Clark April 29, 1925, who preceded her to the grave in 1931.
