Ernestine Bennett, 67, of North Side of Pittsburgh, died Mon., May 3, 2010. Ernestine served many years as a surgical technician at Allegheny General Hospital prior to becoming an entrepreneur. Known by many as 'Ernie' the proprietor of the Image Tree Salon and Teenie's Tots Child Care. She will be missed by daughters: Kimberly Bennett-Henley; Shayna Bennett; Sherry Bennett; Sarah Bennett; Deva Payne-Bennett & Teja Bennett; siblings: Ed Bennett; Juanita Colvig; Henry Bennett; Ida Winston; Lucy Ware; B.L. Bennett; Patricia Sallie & Robert Bennett; also 7 grandchildren & 3 gr. grandchildren. Robinson Funeral Home, Perrysville Ave., Perry Hilltop. Interment, Highwood Cemetery.
