VALIER - Kenneth D. Gulley, 79, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, in West Side Care Center in West Frankfort. He was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Valier to George Gulley and Edna Lewis. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include brothers and sisters, Earlene Burlison of West Frankfort, Betty Loman and husband, Harrison, of Elkville and Nolan Gulley of Benton. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Guy, Ralph and Paul Gulley; three sisters, Hattie McCormick, Velma Loman and Ruth Loman. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, in Maple Hill Cemetery, with Brother Harl Ray Lewis officiating. The body will lie in state at the cemetery. Only family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser is in charge of arrangements.
