Helen M. Sparks, 79, of Pocahontas died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro.
Helen was born Dec. 22, 1930, at Calamine to John and Ruby Brown Hoggard.
Services were held in Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Nelson Henderson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Sparks is survived by her children, Danny and June Sparks, and Carolyn and Joe Loggins, all of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Scott and Keith Sparks; four great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
