Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. for longtime Taft resident, John Quincy Adams, 91.
Mr. Adams was born in Sacramento on February 10, 1913 and passed away on December 28, 2004 in Hemet.
He lived in Taft most of his life. Mr. Adams worked 39 years for Mobile Oil Company and retired in 1975. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Taft and loved traveling in his motor home for many years.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Gudrun Aslaug "Goody" Adams. His survivors include his daughters and their spouses, his 6 grandchildren, his 13 great grandchildren; his sister, and his brother and sister-in-law.
There are no visitation hours scheduled and the arrangements are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
