She asked that her ashes be scattered on her first husband, Herschel's grave. She had brain tumors that were found when she had cataract surgery, and lived longer than anyone expected. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a fun grandma, and we will long remember the gatherings at her house with the fire, and us kids roasting marshmallows while the adults talked. She was a good woman, my grandma.
