Howard Richard Enslin, 51, of Varden, Lake Township, died Monday morning, Sept. 26, 1960, at home, after a long illness. He was born in Lake Township and had been engaged in farming there all of his life. Survivors are his wife, the former Dorothy Brown; two sons, Richard at home, and Dale with the U.S. Army in Kentucky; one daughter, Virginia, studying as a student nurse at Hahnemann hospital, Scranton; and two sisters, Miss Edith Enslin, Scranton, and Mrs. Clinton Box, Daleville. The funeral will be Thursday from the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Arie, with Rev. R. J. Lucy, pastor of South Canaan Bible Protestant Church, officiating. Interment will be made in East Canaan cemetery.
