Carolyn Rutherford Ford Madison, age 42, of Jacksboro, died on Wednesday, July 15. She loved life to the 'max.' She found happiness and joy in everything indoors and out. She was preceded in death by her step son, Ian Madison; mother, Francis Gunter Durkey. Survivors include her husband, John Madison, Jacksboro; son, Brian R. Ford, Maryville; step father, Arthur Durkey; brother, Eddie Rutherford, Michigan; sister, Brenda Rutherford, Kentucky. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, July 21, in the Chapel of Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle Worley officiating. Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
Carolyn fell from a boat in Norris Lake and drowned.
