"Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie McDowell, 85, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rosedale Baptist Church in Bellview. Mrs. McDowell died Sunday in Hereford. Born in Tennessee, Mrs. McDowell moved to New Mexico in 1908 with her husband Frank McDowell. She moved to Texas in 1929 where she resided until her death. Mrs. McDowell is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charlcie E. Hultman of Bellview; a son, E.T. McDowell of Amarillo, Tex; 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Rev. Wayne McLemore will officiate the services assisted by Rev. Milo Gurik. Pallbearers will be Herbert(Herman) Rierson, Willard Patterson, Francis Decker, Loyd Northcutt, Clyde Dunning and C. J. Blackburn. Honorary pallbearers will be friends of the Bellview community. Burial will be in the Old Mitchell Cemetery, Gilliland Watson Funeral Home in Hereford is in charge of the arrangements."
