Jacob "Jake" Francis Forsee died May 7, 1987, at Boone Hospital Center. He was 77.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. May 9 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. The Rev. Glen Lashley will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. May 8 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Forsee was born to Warren W. and Amelia J. Kanetzer Forsee on May 24, 1909, in Columbia.
He married (Private) on August 8, 1931 in Columbia. He was a member of Locust Grove Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Columbia. He was retired University painter.
Survivors include his wife, one son, (Private), a brother James A. Forsee of Boonville, two sisters (Private) and Gertrude Bennett of Anaheim, Calif., and two grandchildren.
