Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn L. Thornton; a son-in-law, Charles Monroe Thornton; a sister, Gladys Marie Phillips; a brother, F.M. Long Sr.; and a granddaughter, Jan LaNasa. Survivors live in Baton Rouge.
Preceded in death by wife, Julia F. Long.
