Columbus: Georgia Meriam, age 96, died Friday May 7, 2010 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital.

She was a graduate of Lancaster High School in 1932 and School Colors were Purple and Gold and Bliss Business College of Ohio.

She later attended and graduated from Grant Hospital of Hursing in Columbus, Ohio. She worked at Grant Hospital as an R.N. where she retired after 21 years of service.

After retirement she studied art at Second and Summit Senior Citizens Center. She became a locally known talented artist in various mediums. In addition to art , she enjoyed horses and gardening.

Preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Beverly in 2009

Survived by sisters, Ruth James and Virginia (Sam) Cox both of Tarpon Springs, Florida; brothers, Kenneth Sells of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Martin Sells of Bremen, Ohio; many nieces, nephews, neighbors andd friends.

Friends may call at the SOUTHWICK-GOOD & FORTKAMP FUNERAL HOME, 3100 NORTH HIGH STREET, COLUMBUS, OHIO, Saturday at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., where service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, Ohio.
