D. Raymond Allcock, Jr., 77, of Pedlar Mills, died peacefully at his residence on Saturday, January 24, 2004. He was the loving husband of Kathryn G. Allcock for 59 years.
Mr. Allcock was born on July 11, 1926 in Lynchburg.
He is survived by one son, Ray Allcock and his wife, Jackie of Red Bluff, California; three daughters, Kay Nunley and her husband, Bob of Lynchburg, Martha Knowles and her husband Buck of South Mills, N.C., and Mary Ammons and her husband, Bud of Lawrenceville, GA; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private graveside service with the Rev. Earl Clarkson officiating.
Tharp Funeral home and cremation Center, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
