Grace was born on May 15, 1915, in Thorp, to Percy and Lena (Bobb) Marshall. She graduated from Thorp High School in 1933. She married Conrad Haas on Nov. 14, 1936, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls. After their marriage, they resided in Thorp until moving to Cadott in 1946 where they owned and operated the Gamble's Store. They retired in 1971 After her husband's death on Aug. 16, 1974, she continued to reside in Cadott until moving to Chippewa Falls in 1982.
She was a member of Crossroads Church in Chippewa Falls.
Grace is survived by: two daughters, Jane (Bruce) Hyland of Charlotte, N.C., Mary Kathleen (Doug) Kinder of Ft. Huachuca, AZ.; three sons, Mark (Janean) Haas of Chippewa Falls, David (Donna) Haas of Granville, Ohio and Neil (Paula) Haas of Cadott; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Margie Jackson of Duluth, Minn.; and one brother, Donald Marshall of Thorp; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Conrad; a sister, Kelly Handrich
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 22 at Crossroads Church, 209 W. South Ave., Chippewa Falls with Pastor Wade Duroe officiating. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Town of Sigel, Chippewa County.
Friends may call from noon until time of service Monday at the church.
