Monroeville -- Maurice A. Farley, 73, 121 Way Street, died Sunday evening in Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital shortly after he was admitted. He apparently had suffered a heart attack.
Mr. Farley was born in Greenwich and lived in the Monroeville area most of his life. He was employed at the Seaman-McLean Feed Co.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly; three daughters, Mrs Wilford (Luena) Couture, Monroeville, Mrs. Harrison (Bertha) Scott, Greenwich, and Mrs Verna Mead of Monroeville; two sons, Lawrence and John both of Monroeville; 24 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Kenneth(Donna) Houghtlen of Norwalk.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 at the Drake Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leonard Wilfong officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery here
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Dean Whiteside, John Farley II, Calvin Farley, Maurice Scott, Robert Mead and Keith Farley.
