Richard George Sheehan, loving husband of the late Aline, nee Potts. Dear father of Barbara (Roger)Cline, Charmaine (Frank)Mortensen,Richard (Phiranan)Sheehan; dear grandfather of Roger Jr., Kelly, Donna & Dennis(Cline), Everett & Armando (Kent); grandfather of 10.Richards identical twin, Raymond died of an enlarged heart as a baby. His siblings were James & Vincent, Barbara, Peggy, Mickey ,Shirley and Rita. Another set of twins died at birth, their names were Edward & Earl. Rich was an easy going person, he never complained, just took things as they came. He loved his grandchildren. Dads family had a home in Downers Grove. When his mother died the children were seperated and sent to various relatives homes. Dad felt he had to be out on his own and left in his teens but visited his younger sister Peggy as often as possible. They were very close. Dad owned his own truck and built a nice house in the suburbs of Chicago when I was four, but mom changed her mind and refused to move. I think that broke dad's heart as he wanted a real home for his family.
Dad was a cheerful person who didn't believe in complaining.
