She was born December 30 1878 in Russell County Virginia and was a daughter of the late Robert Wesley and Mary Malinda Wade Clifton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband--James Hanniable Meadows.
Three daughters--Sarah Luiza Josephine Meadows Osborn--Maggie Alice Meadows and Laura Ellen Meadows.
One son--James Lincoln Meadows.
Five brothers--William Opechancanough Chink Clifton--John Robert Lafayette Bob Clifton--Peregrine White Clifton--David Isaac Clifton and Thomas Steptoe Clifton.
Three sisters--Alcey Ann Clifton Wade Byrd--Sarah Luizy Clifton Jenkins and Rosa Lee Clifton.
Survivors are--one daughter--Leatha Jane Meadows Ratliff and husband Jack Ratliff.
Five sons--Robert Everette Meadows and wife Ruth Griffith Meadows--Napoleon Garton Meadows and wife Florida Griffith Meadows--King Andrew Burton Meadows and wife Clara Osborn Meadows--John Howard Meadows and wife Stella Cooper Meadows and Henley Wilbur Meadows and wife Goldie Barnes Meadows.
One brother--King Andrew Clifton and wife Ella Shortt Stilwell Webb Clifton.
