James P. Orwig, 80, 236 Southwest St., died Saturday in Bellevue Hospital Following an illness of a year.
Born in Bellevue, he was a member of the Seyfert United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife , Bertha; three daughters, Mrs James(Virginia) Corcoran and Mrs Robert(Lois) Arman, both of Toledo; and Mrs Fred(Margaret) Kauble, Bellevue; a son Claire, Toledo; two step-daughters, Mrs Robert(Violet) Burke and Mrs Arthur(Charlote) Forney, both of Bellevue; two step-sons, K.H. McKenzie, Bellevue, and Edward E McKenzie, Sandusky, 28 grandchildren; and a brother, Albert, Bellevue.
He was preceded in death by a son, and his parents, John and Malinda(Joseph) Orwig.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Foos and Son Funeral Home 311 W. Main St. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ernest Murphy officiating.
Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
