Nancy E. Goodrum, 57, born September 2, 1952, and passed away on May 10, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis. Nancy graduated from Treadwell High School in 1970. Most of her career was in the insurance industry as a customer service representative, where she worked for Cook, Treadwell & Harry, Inc., Crooner & Black and EPG, Inc. of Memphis. She is survived by her friend and companion of 22 years, Paul Eugene Smith; her sister, Patricia Stahle, also of Memphis; her aunt Nancy Loftiss, of Olive Branch, MS; her aunt Rebekah Houck, of Senatobia, MS; her uncle, Robert Moore of Dallas, TX; and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Meryle and Bob Goodrum. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010, at High Point Funeral Chapel, 3788 Summer Avenue. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at High Point Funeral Chapel beginning at 1 p.m.. Interment will be private.
