Harold "Red" Ray Kennedy, age 81, of Monclova, Ohio passed away Friday, July 03, 2009, in the Heatherdowns Care Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 12, 1927, in Louisville, Kentucky to Herbert and Mayme (Turner) Kennedy. Red was a self-employed carpenter. He was a "Home Kid" raised in the Junior Home, an orphanage in Tiffin, Ohio, run by the Junior Order of United American Mechanics. Red was a member of the Central Catholic High School Athletic Boosters. The trophy case he built is still featured in Central's lobby. He was also active at Christ the King Church. Red is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Agnes (Kuyoth) Kennedy whom he married March 27, 1946; children, Kathleen (Larry) Gardner, Marlene (Gerald) Mills, Colleen (Jack) Coleman, Mark (Carol) Kennedy and Darlene (Randy) Rubin; grandchildren, Kimberly (Brad) Dickinson, Jill (Jamie Guzek) Gardner, Sean (Erin) Stesch, Julie (Danny) McLaughlin, Brian (Stephanie) Nonnenmacher, Sandy (Kevin Simser) Nonnenmacher, Kevin Nonnenmacher, Matthew, Daniel and Jacob Kennedy, Trevor and Kyle Rubin, Jennifer (Doug Kohler) Mills and Justin Mills; great-grandchildren, Melani, Elaina, Grant, Aiden, Grayson, Taylor, Teagan, Torrie, Joey, Ryan, Dani, Kennedy, Mia, Tony, Lizzie and Michael and sister, Ida Mae Morgan. In addition to his parents Red was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeff Gardner. Family and friends may visit Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will begin Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 in St. Joseph Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maumee
