Obituary
A. J. Williams, Confederate veteran, passed away at his home near Montpelier Springs, yesterday at 1 o'clock. Mr. Williams was eight-seven years of age and has live in Bibb county and in Macon all of his life. He was a resident of Macon thirty years. For many years he had been a member of Midway Baptist church. Mr. Williams was ill only ten days, and the cause of his death of general debility.
Surviving him are three sons and two daughters, T.J. L.L and H. J. Williams, Mrs. R. W. Brennan, and Mrs. Theodore Reddy, all of Macon; also one sister, Mrs. Maggie Moseley, of Lizella, one brother Jack [John] Williams of [Logansport] La.
The funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Midway Baptist church Rev. Mr. Kendrick pastor, will officiate. Interment at Parkers graveyard. The pall bearers will be T.J., L.L. H.J., Emmett, Malcolm and T. J. Williams, Jr.
