WADSWORTH -- Gary B. Fink, 75, of Wadsworth, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 after a brief illness.

Born October 4, 1934 in Altoona, Pa. to the late Chester and Grace (Imler) Fink, Mr. Fink proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, graduated from Penn State and was a lifelong fan of all Nittany Lion's sports. Gary retired as the Assistant Director of the Summit County Children Services Board. Previously, Gary was the partner of Scott Varney of Varney, Fink & Assoc. of Wadsworth and a former auditor with the Ohio Auditor of Sates Office. He was also a member of the AICPA.

Gary is survived by his wife, Louise (Laganella) Fink; children, Bruce (Carolyn), Vanessa Semrau (George), and Kevin (former wife Tracie); his sister, Miriam Boyle (Bob) and sisters-in-law, Betty Fink, Dee Lee and Jan Fink; and many nieces and nephews. The pride and joy of Gary's life were his grandchildren, Heather, Ryan, and Sarah, Corey, Alyssa, and Sean, and Kelsey, Alexis, and Sophie. Gary was preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn and Ron.
