Adele was a business school graduate and spend many years working as an office clerk before assuming her favorite job of wife and mother. She was a wonderful cook and during the depression she was able to use those skills and worked as a "short order" cook in a small restaurant to help support her family during those difficult times.

Throughout her life, Adele's magic fingers crocheted many beautiful baby ensembles. A soft spoken woman, she could surprise you with her subtle humor. But it is no surprise that Adele's deep love for her family continues to be felt and has been passed on to the generations of family who have come since her passing.

Adele was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is loved, missed and remembered.

THE BROKEN CHAIN

We little knew that morning that God would call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
