Age 46, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2002, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She has been a longtime resident of Indianapolis, coming from Hobart, IN. Joy worked as a team leader for American Funds Group for years, and is a graduate of Indiana State with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. She was also a member of Unity of Indianapolis Church. Joy is survived by her mother, Ilene Lindholm; her brother, Jon Lindholm; and a special friend, Dorothy McIver of Indianapolis. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Lindholm. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2002 in Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Rd., Hobart with Pastor Streitelmeyer officiating. Burial will be immediately following the services in Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Visiting hours will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2002 in Rees Hobart Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Unity of Indianapolis Church, or to Augustana Lutheran Foundation. Leppert and Hensley Mortuary assisted with arrangements in Indianapolis.
