Larry Allen "Pappy" Deem, Sr., 63, of Parkersburg, died May 13, 2010 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born October 10, 1946 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late Roy Franklin and Sarah Vincent Deem. He was formerly employed with Fenton Glass and was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam.

He is survived by three daughters, Sara Lockhart and husband Brian, Sabrina McCune and husband Wayland, Stephanie Deem all of Parkersburg; mother-in-law, Naomi Deems; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanie L. Deems Deem; one son, Larry Deem, Jr. and three infant sons.

Services will be Saturday 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Dave Copen and Reverend Nathan Copen officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the American Legion Post #15.

Visitation will be Friday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
