William Heaps Dies at 64
William P. Heaps, 64, of 124 Foal Court, manager of Landy Towel and Linen Service, died Wednesday at 9 a.m. at his home after a long illness.
He was a member of the Lancaster Elks Lodge 134. During World War II, he served on the US Army.
Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late William C. and Helen Seiple Heaps.
Surviving are four children: Linda G. Lownsbery, Suzanne J. Myers, William N. and Betsy J. Lefever, all of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph, New Bedford Mass.
Services from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 East King St., Lancaster, PA, with Rev. David L. Gockley officiating. Interment in the Conestoga Memorial Park.
