SURVIVORS: a son, Roscoe Altman of Bakersfield, Calif.; three daughters, Elaine Ellis and Malinda Richardson, both of Rincon, and LaJuan Holcomb of Port Wentworth; a brother, Milton Jarrell of North Charleston, S.C.; two sisters, Annie Winstead of Appleton, S.C., and Corrine Crosby of North Charleston; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
