George & Adaline Jackson had eight children, four boys & four girls. Three of the girls married into t he Carey family, and one of his sons married a Carey. Their yourgest daughter Irene was going to marry a Carey but he died of flu when epedimic went through area. She later married a Nickerson.George and Adaline Jackson were first buried in Carey Cemetery, west of Grove. They were later moved when the dam was built and Grand Lake covered that area. They were moved to Buzzard Cemetery, north of Grove, Ok on the westside of hwy 59.
