Mary Ann Brooks born in Germany 1870 came to USA in 3 Dec 1874 on board the Minnesota with her parents Micheal Brock and Louisa Poppe and with brother Gus and sister Louisa.
They arrived in New York City and made there way to settle in Des Moines, Iowa.
Mary Ann Brooks is in Des Moines Ia., in the 1880 us census and is listed as Anna Brooks.
She married Hans Larsen in 1890.
The had 5 girls and 2 boys .
Her youngest son was born in 1905 in Des Moines
Mary was last seen in the 1900 US census.
In the 1910 Illinois U.S. census in, Hans is listed as widowed.
Mary's death date of 21 Feb 1907 was found in her sister Louisa's family Bible - *thank you Sandra D.
Mabel 's granddaughter that Mabel stated Mary had died during child birth of twins.
Mary is buried beside Hannah Larsen/Lawson ,the 1st wife of Hans Larsen.
Cemetery records has Hans as the one buried there but:
1. He took the kids to Illinois and died in Anna, Ill. and is buried there in 1935.
2. The dates at the cemetery office is the same as Mary's death date and her age not Hans.

Found Mary Ann buried next to Hannah Larsen, 1st wife of Hans Larsen. cemetery record list name as Larson and has Hans there, dying Feb. 12, 1907 at 37, which is Mary's dates. we know Hans went on to Illinois with the kids and died there in 1935.
