GALVESTON — Service for Joseph Harold Davis, 71, Rt. 1, Walton, will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Murray Funeral Home, Galveston chapel. He died Friday at 12:45 p.m. at Howard Community Hospital, Kokomo. Born in Walton, Sept. 4, 1909, he was the son of Otha and Ella Crockett Davis. On Jan. 7, 1931, he was married to Mary Hart, who survives. A lifetime resident of Cass County, he was a farmer and a member of the Walton Masonic lodge and the Walton Eastern Star.

Surviving with the wife are two sons, Walter L., Kokomo; and Paul D., Rt. 1, Walton; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Five brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today.
