WALTON — Services for Mary E. Davis, 83, Rt. 1, Walton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Murray Funeral Home, Walton Chapel. She died at 6:05 p.m. Friday in Windsor Estates Nursing Home, Kokomo. Born Jan. 8. 1909, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Chester L. and Hattie Babb Hart. On Jan. 7, 1931. she was married to Joseph H. Davis, who died June 19, 1981.

A lifelong resident of Cass County, Mrs. Davis was a member of the Walton chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Pleasant Valley Quilters Club. She had been a member of the former Salem United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Walter L., Kokomo, and Paul D., Rt, 1, Walton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. One half brother preceded in death. Burial will be in the Walton IOOF Cemetery.
