Elizabeth Reber became the second wife of Jehu Grubb, after his first wife died in 1815. A family letter has her name as Sorrick; she may have been the widow, with children, of John Sorrick. She bore Jehu five children (two died young), and is the ancestor of many Grubbs who lie at St. Jacob's Cemetery, not far from their Plain Twp. home.

No grave marker exists for Elizabeth; she was probably buried at a small cemetery near their farm in Plain Twp. Those graves that were marked were later moved for road widening.
