Glen Beaudin, 82, of 232 W. Yellow St., Cadott, passed away suddenly Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
Glen was born on March 21, 1924, the son of William and Nellie (Guthrie) Beaudin in the town of Colburn.
Glen grew up and attended School in the town of Colburn. He was a milk hauler for the Colburn Dairy. Glen served in the U.S. Army during WW II in Panama, Venezuela, Galapagos Island and the Battle of the Bulge. He then worked construction for L.G. Larson, Market and Johnson and also worked at Uniroyal Tire and Fisher Body in Janesville.
Since being disabled Glen taught himself to build and repair clocks and do fret work, he also loved to hunt and fish.
Glen is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine L. Beaudin of Cadott; one daughter, Darlene (George) Hora of Cedarburg; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Elwood Beaudin of Janesville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his Parents; a son, Timothy C. Beaudin on Sept. 21, 2006, and six brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27 at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott with Rev. George Olinske officiating. Interment will be at Brooklawn Cemetery, Cadott, with Military Services conducted by the Cadott American Legion and VFW.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 at the Leiser Funeral Home and also one hour before services on Monday at the Funeral Home.
