Alfred Miller, son of Peter Miller and Bridget Mabel Miller, formerly King, was born on 13 January 1890, at Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare.
His father was recorded as a Soldier.

In the 1901 census, Alfred Patrick Miller was recorded as a 11 year old pupil at
The Royal Hibernian Military School
Castleknock, Dublin.
He had been born in Co. Kildare.
His younger brother Valentine, aged 8, was a pupil there.

Alfred P. Miller, aged 30, a bachelor, an ex-Soldier, died at Tivoli Lodge, Kingstown, on 24 June 1920.
The cause of death was Phthisis, certified.
