Survivors include, his wife, Catherine, of the home; seven daughters, Amada Riedel, Victoria, Evelyn, of the home, Mrs. Margaret Baumstimler, Osawatomie, Mrs. Severin (Marie) Leiker, Munjor, Mrs. Alvin (Agnes) Leiker, Hays, Mrs. LeRoy (Katy) Windholz, Quinter, and Mrs. John (Josephine) Braun, Victoria; four sons, Herbert, Hays, Francis, Walker, Marcellus, Shawnee Mission, and John Jr., Hays; 45 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann's Church at Walker. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday until the time of service at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria. Parish wake service will be 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
