ADA, March 11 - William K. Gardner, 74, retired farmer and father of Burke Gardner, Ada druggist, died late Thursday night at his home here. He had been in a serious condition for several weeks following an attack of pneumonia.
Mr. and Mrs. Gardner came to Ada from Illinois 15 years ago. Another son, Lloyd Gardner, is with the Republic Steel Corp. in Philadelphia and is a trustee of Ohio Northern university.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the residence with Rev. Lee M. Moore officiating. The body was removed from the Preston funeral home to the residence Saturday afternoon. Interment in Woodlawn.
