Walter Faciszewski, 97 of 506 Marquette St. died Tuesday at Community-General Hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Konski [sic, Konskie?], Poland, Mr. Faciszewski lived in the Syracuse area 78 years. Before retiring he was a homebuilder in the Syracuse and Binghamton areas.
Mr. Faciszewski was a communicant of Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church.
Surviving are four sons, Andrew, Stanley, John and Stephen, all of Syracuse; four daughters, Ann Etmanski, Lottie Sandquist, Genevieve Faciszewski and Mary Demperio, all of Syracuse; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
Services will be at 9:20 a.m. Thursday at the Giminiski-Wysocki Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 1320 W. Genesee St. A Christian wake service will be at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
