He served in Capt. Bigelow Lswrence's Co. in '82, and was still in Shaftsbury in 1790. Onon. Cent. said: "Parley Howlett, sr., was one of three brothers who came from England, but sailed from France, and settled in Shaftabury, Vt. He married Barsheba Parker, and in 1797 came to Onondaga county, locating in Onondaga Hollow, whence he removed in the same year to Howlett Hill, where he died in 1803. He had five sons and three daughters." Bathsheba and Dan Howlett, administrators, Aug. 13, 1803. Bigelow Lawrence took the place of Dan.
