Born at Methodist Hospital and grew up on Washington Street down town. While still small the family moved to the country in Pike Township where they kept horses, alligators, cats and dogs. Andy spent his elementary years at Park-Tudor, and middle and high school years at Pike Township, graduating Class of 1966.
He attended Kemper Military School for one year, then transferred to IUPUI.
Served in Vietnam 1969-70, 25th Infantry Division, stationed in Cu Chi.
Enjoyed sailing, boating, horses, computer, reading, and painting.
He was survived by two children and a former wife, a brother David Martenet, and a sister Jeanne Martenet.
