Wiley Mae Ball, Walker, Ellison was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 1, 1922. Wiley Mae was the thrid of ten children born to the union of Wiley and Dimples Ball.

Her Mother, two brothers; Cornelius and Lawrence; four sister; Lily, Mary, Margaret and Magdalen; one son John L. preceded her in death.

Wiley Mae attended Stoner Hill Elementary School and graduated from Central High School in Shreveport. She joined the church at an early age, serving at Johnson Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church in Shreveport.

In 1939 Wiley Mae met and married Eugene E. Walker, to that union two children were born. In 1946 Wiley Mae met and married Darthus Ellison, to that union eight children.

On May 5, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, the Lord called Wiley Mae's soul to rest.

She leaves to celebrate her life; her husband Darthus Ellison, four daugthers Cornelius Elaine, Darline, Lizzie Mae and Alyce Marie: five sons Ronald, Bernard, Godfrey, Fletcher and Lonial. Her father Wiley Ball, two sisters Susie Elaine (William) Carew and Gennie Virginia Bias, one brother Jobie Ball.Three nephews Donald, Jerome and Arichie Manard; five nieces Deloris, Gildra, Janice, Brenda and Yolanda; a host of other reelatives and devoted friends
