IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD"

Fletcher stayed close to the Lord, and continued to grow in knowledge and faith. During Fletcher's Christian journey, he worked in the Church as an Usher, Missionary, Sunday school teacher, Superintendent of Sunday School, Bible study instructor, Prayer Warrior and Deacon. Fletcher was dedicated to the lord and influenced the lives of many with his vast knowledge of God's Word.

Although Fletcher was never married, he had so much love to share, he adopted a daughter, Lanetta Felix and helped rear this child in the admonition of the Lord. Fletcher was proud that he helped shape Lanetta's life who is to this day a fine young Lady. Fletcher who was called "Ellison" on his jobs and was employed by, Wragtime Transportation, where he held the positions of Driver, Dock Supervisor and Dispatcher.

He was also employed by Nix Check Cashing as Warehouse Manager at the corporate office and in 1997, was promoted to Manager at Nix Check Cashing #29. Ellison loved working with his Nix and Wragtime families and was truly a great person who was loved by all.

On Sunday, March 16, 2003 the Lord saw fit to call Fletcher's soul to rest from his labor in this life.

Fletcher's life truly touched many. Although we love him and will truly miss him, we know that God truly loves him best.

"I've Only Moved Away"

When my life on earth is over,
My body is cold and still.
Do not grieve because I left you,
Just remember it was God will.

All My Suffering will be over,
Every trial and every test.
God has called and I have answered,
Don't weep for I'll be at rest.

Only ask yourself this question,
"Am I ready to met him There?"
In Heaven so bright so fair.

When you pass to view my body,
Remember it's just a house of clay,
Jesus has built for me a mansion and,
I'VE ONLY MOVED AWAY.
