Albert was the son of Mary Griffith Hunichenn and Edward G.Hunichenn; and husband of Ida Evelyn Smith Hunichen. After his father died at age 38, his widowed mother married Dr. Byrson Gill.
Dr. Albert S. Hunichen, 80, a well-known dentist formerly of this city, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas J. McDonough, Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Hunichen practiced dentistry in this city for many years, being associated with the late Dr. Edward McSherry.
Funeral services will take place from St. John's Catholic Church, Frederick with mass by Rev. Fr. F.A. Schwallenberg. Pallbearers were: Harry G. Dorsey, John Falk, Benjamin F. Grove, Charles Doll, William Howard, R.D. Zimmerman. Thomas P. Rice Funeral Director, 406 N. Market St.
