Funeral service for Dr. James Donald "Doc" Duggar Jr., 70 of Douglasville, Ga., were held Saturday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel in Dougasville with Dr. John Pennington and the Rev. Brent Stephens officiating.
Interment followed at Rosehaven Cemetery.
Dr. Duggar was born in Crawfordville, Fla., and died on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at his residence. He attended Florida State University and graduated from Lincoln Chiropractic College in 1961 with honors. He was a chiropractor for 38 years, part of that time practicing in Bainbridge for 10 years and in Douglasville for 11 years. He was a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Counsel, was voted Southern Gospel Music Super Fan in 1990, and was a member of Douglasville First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; three sons; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
