Son of Maude J and Chester E. Banks. He married Lavetta Smith in Galesburg in 1953. He married Delores Mae Friday Stanley Banks in 1960. He married Joceile Knutson on Feb. 3 1985. He has two sons Kevin Banks and Duane Schoonover, Two daughters Linda Sallo and Melissa Banks. A step-son Roger Stanley and Step-daughter Valerie whom he raised.Three brothers George, Richard, and Jim. Five half sisters Mary Shane, Hazel Leaf, Vernice Sharp, Virginia Gerlach, and Myrtle Potter. Two half brothers Mike and Frank Farrell. He owned and operated Banks TV and Repair Service.
