Uncle Lewis was 5'9" and weighed abt 150 with blue eyes, gray hair and a ruddy complexion when he registered for the draft during WWII. He listed his occupation as "farmer-stockman". He was jovial and a friend to all. He liked to have a "nip" of whiskey every now and then and kept the bottles hidden in the barn from his second wife Lou. This author found two of those bottles as a small boy and still have them to this day.
